We are proud to be a part of an international organization that promotes Workday’s core values and champions equal opportunities for everyone.About the RoleWorkday is seeking a Sr. Process & Controls Analyst focused on identifying risks, advising on risk mitigation strategies, and leading projects.  The RSCC team is seeking a candidate with a background in program management and a proven track record of leadership in planning, executing, and successfully delivering projects. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a history of effectively managing complex projects, possess outstanding communication and leadership skills, and exhibit the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Clearly demonstrating proficiency in identifying risks, defining approaches for mitigating risks, and evaluating, designing and/or testing internal controlsAdequately documenting their work in accordance with team practices Project managing one or more assignments at a time and communicating regular progress updates to the appropriate team membersMonitoring project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.Developing and documenting risk assessment findings; proposing recommendations for review by Management;Driving internal control process improvements, building efficiencies, and fostering a collaborative and  innovative environmentFostering an effective control environment and supporting internal and external audits Staying well-informed of industry developments, including, but not limited to, changes in industry regulationsCompiling  compliance documentation and coordinating data requests between the business and internal or external auditorsWorking to form positive relationships with internal business partners and external vendors, auditors as neededActively participating in delivering on accounting and organization goalsAs skills develop, the Workmate will be given increasing responsibilities to make independent decisions within the limited scope of assigned engagements About YouBasic Qualifications6+ years experience related to any of the following: evaluating & testing internal controls, performing risk assessments, leading projects Bachelor’s degree​Other Preferred QualificationsDetailed and analytical person who thrives in solving problemsBig 4 experience or large national accounting firmCPA, CISSP, CISA or other related certificationsInternal or external audit experienceTechnology or SAAS industry experienceStrong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and demonstrate solid time management skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to research industry regulations when necessaryLearn business processes, audit skills and techniques in a relatively short period of timeStrong interpersonal skills to interact with Workmates at different levels within the organization including Senior ManagementWillingness to develop core competencies for auditing/process improvement within the Finance department, follow and develop guidelinesDevelop overall product knowledge and business unit knowledge over timeWorkday Pay Transparency Statement - United States The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
