With this critical contribution to the company in mind, we partner with other Workday departments such as People & Purpose, Business Technology and Finance to ensure that we are successful in delivering on this goal. We handle every aspect of workplace operations, building facilities and maintenance, as well as partnering on space analysis and projects. We focus on the employee experience, and control operating and capital expenses.About the RoleWorkday is looking for a versatile Director of Real Estate and Workplace, EMEA Operations to join our team.  This full-time position is based out of our Dublin, IR location.  This position plays a critical role as a member of the Real Estate and Workplace team and will report to our VP, Global Real Estate & Workplace. We are looking for someone experienced, flexible, reliable, outgoing, and professional, with a positive work attitude. This position is an integral part of the Real Estate and Workplace leadership team that establishes and preserves excellent working relationships with office Site Leaders.  What makes this an exciting opportunity is that you will join the worldwide industry leader in all things Financial, HR and planning systems, and with that you will have the opportunity to develop and implement industry leading solutions for how employees collaborate, ideate and build their careers in times of constant change.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities●      Manage a team of Senior Manager and Associate Managers, Specialists and Workplace Coordinators in multiple office locations. Responsibilities include hiring and professional development of the team.·      Work closely with the other Workplace Operations management team members to ensure standards are consistent.●      Ensure all aspects of employee engagement is focused on creating a great work environment that draws workmates into the office.·      Responsible for operational budgets for the offices.·      Support space planning and utilization to the Occupancy Planning team.·      Work closely with project teams during construction and/or BT projects to assist with operational feedback, communications and liaison to coordinator/office stakeholders.·      Oversee and assist team to ensure each office is running smoothly, efficiently and at a high service level.  ·      Ensure all service requests are effectively and expeditiously handled.·      Oversee workplace programs that foster a positive employee experience.·      Build strong internal relationship with Workday employees, RE&W teams, office Site Leaders, BT department, Employee Life, etc.   Collaborating with these groups is imperative to the successful support of the entire Workday community.·      Review surveys and provide effective responses for space openings with quarterly check-ins to ensure we are listening to the needs of our workmates.·      Maintain and build relationships with vendors and contractors.·      Work closely with property managers to ensure that the service to leased buildings is in keeping with Workday standards and contractual obligations. ·      Responsible for coverage at offices when coordinators are out of the office for an extended period of time or a need arises (e.g. large special event, move-in assistance).·      Travel to other Workday offices is required.  The travel is dependent on projects, staff availability, etc.About You15 years of Workplace Operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced, professional setting.●      Experience managing and budgeting day-to-day workplace operations.●      Ability to do cost analysis and negotiate with vendors.●      Ability to prepare reports and data analyses. ●      Financial analysis experience and familiarity with accounting and financial concepts of real estate and operations expensesOther QualificationsStrong proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Project and Visio. Ability to perform Internet based research. You will learn about Workday’s various systems including ProLease, iOffice, ShareFile and others.Excellent interpersonal skills including significant oral, presentation and written communication skills and professional presenceDetailed understanding of industry standards, including workplace practices, corporate management, office technology, and environmental factors.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
