Hundreds of companies, ranging from medium-sized to the Fortune 50, are gaining business value from Workday.About the RoleReporting directly to the EMEA Vice President of Professional Services, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship, but also from time to time other executives in the EMEA organisation.Utmost discretion, flexibility, seniority, good judgement, and organisational skills are essential to this role. Ability to develop very strong trusting 1 to 1 relationships with the two leaders is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively at senior level across many stakeholders. Ability to plan extremely busy schedules, follow up on complex actions, predict problems/best courses of actions, arrange detailed travel plans, develop strong connections across the organisation & beyond and expenses management are also some of the daily requirements. She/he will have the ability to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with utter discretion.About YouCompletes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Vice President: managing extremely active calendars of appointments; completing expenses reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related and customer related meetings.Proven ability to handle confidential information with utter and complete discretion, and quickly create a trusted environment with the two leaders. Ability to be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client/partner service and response.Plans, coordinates and ensures the VPs’ schedule is followed and respected, and quickly adapt the calendar according to priorities, seniorities and relevant business needs. Follows up on required business items in a manner to progress actions and ensures outcomes are achieved. Initiative and anticipation of what needs to be done are essential.Emotional maturity - ability to self regulate and also to help the VP maintain a healthy working environment across their teams. Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions. Works closely and effectively with the VP to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, changing diaries, changing priorities, following up appropriately. `Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the VP updated.Provides leadership to build relationships internally and externally with other leaders outside of Workday; strong ability to develop relationships with other Executive Assistants across Workday and beyond are crucial to the success of the organisation.Prioritises conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on commitments. Remind the two executives of deadlines, and prepare them for success on a weekly basis.Assists in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings and off-sites, as well as all-hands meetings. Follows up on contacts made by the Vice Presidents and supports the cultivation of ongoing relationships.Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, partners, customers and suppliers.
