Our mission is to enable customers and our services ecosystem to adopt Workday products and solutions in the most effective and efficient manner and with the highest quality to ensure lasting customer success.About the RoleThe Director, Field Readiness (M5) resides within the Solution Enablement organization and leads cross-functional project teams to deliver tools, communications and events to support Consultants in the Workday Ecosystem in the deployment of Workday Student at our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving the enablement of Workday Professional Services, deployment partners and our customers to ensure the successful implementation of Workday Student. The Director, Field Readiness drives the vision and provides oversight to the Field Readiness teams supporting Student Recruiting and Admissions, Student Finance, Records and Advising, and Financial Aid deployment at our Higher Ed. customers. The team is responsible for:Assessing the impact of product changes on deployments and methodologyUpdatinging and creating functional artifacts to support design decisions and configuration of product at deployments;Facilitating Knowledge Sharing Sessions (KSS) to share detailed functional knowledge and critical product updates and messaging with Workday Services teams and the partner ecosystemCoordinating the Product Lead program at services partners to ensure knowledge is disseminated within the ecosystem;Creating and updating artifacts for consultants in the services ecosystem o maintain product certifications;Coordinating, creating and presenting educational content for ecosystem events (e.g., Altitude) and internal events (e.g., Bootcamps)Coordinating cross-organizational communications and internal alignment with Product, Sales and Support through Alignment calls and other mechanisms Providing infrastructure and ad-hoc support for product and deployment-related escalations at deploying customersAs the Director of Student Field Readiness, you will also be responsible for:Coordinating alignment across diverse organizations including Product, Services, Education, Support, Strategy and Pre-SalesPartnering with Field Readiness Managers in other product areas and buying centers, including oCFO, oCHRO and oCIO to increase collaboration across the Workday EnterpriseCollaborate with the broader CX Strategy and Portfolio Management team to support solutions for Higher Ed. customerInfluencing the product roadmap by presiding over consolidated Services feedbackDriving consistency and quality through oversight of pre-configured content and standard deployment toolsHelping to coordinate issues and escalations on active deploymentsLeading initiatives to support new product offerings KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Stakeholder Partnership & CommunicationProactively communicate and partner with teams to effectively deliver solutionsDeliver communications to teams with positivity and energyEffectively handle and communicate project intent and empower teams to achieve project objectivesProject ManagementUse project management methods and standards to ensure project results meet/exceed expectationsLead projects with varying degrees of complexity and riskWork on multiple projects concurrentlyUse project management methods (e.g., waterfall, agile) and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project)Business Process DefinitionProvide process leadership; As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
