This platform is central to our user experience and serves some of the worlds largest companies running their businesses on Workday.The team is focused on improving the UX (look & feel, usability, discoverability, etc.), performance, accessibility, and maintainability of our UI and associated backend services. We build and maintain components which are used in almost every Workday product and are rendered more than 20 billion times per month in Production!About the RoleWe are now looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen our focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.This position requires a self-motivated professional with hands-on technical QA testing experience. Our QA's ensure full quality coverage based on user stories provided by Product Management and in collaboration with the development team. The position also requires candidates to apply their knowledge and creativity to improve efficiency in our processes.Duties:Be a champion for quality as a shared responsibility, as part of an agile development teamPerform manual UI testing, following defined test plans and performing exploratory testingClearly and effectively communicate with QA, Development, Product Management and Design teamsDiagnose problems and report bugs/enhancements in JIRAOrganise and facilitate group testing activities e.g. team exploratory test sessionsContribute to and monitor Definition of Ready/Definition of DoneContribute to technical discussions and help the team make decisionsParticipate in and contribute to scrum ceremonies like Refinement, 3 Amigos, Retros, Demos, etcAbout YouBasic Qualifications:2+ years technical QA experience in Enterprise ApplicationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience testing UI elements across different platforms and browsersExperience performing exploratory testingExperience working with browser developer toolsExperience working with JIRA for issue trackingExperience working within an Agile environmentOther Qualifications:Experience with CI and cloud based deployment modelsExperience in testing technically complex systemsExposure to UX improvement initiativesExposure to test automationOur Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
