You will be helping us with coordination, documentation, test execution, conducting POC, post-production maintenance, and support of the Oracle Cloud SaaS enterprise application production support and continuous improvement of the application landscape.This position acts as a critical liaison between the company’s financial functions including Corporate Controllership, Regional Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Business Assurance, and the company’s IT organization. ResponsibilitiesBusiness SupportProvides first-line support to users of financial applications.Responding to business user queriesProviding one-on-one support, explanations, and guidance to users regarding finance operationsTriaging data issues, process issues, and business user errors.Liaise with IT and business users to in a short duration.Testing & Test DesignExecute System integration testing.Coordinate user acceptance testing for new systems or enhancement releases.  This involves assistance with the creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the schedule.Coordinates integration testing validates test cases with stakeholders for user acceptance testing and training and obtains signoffs.Coordinates defects clarification, triage, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.Performs Mock close on financial systems.Project ManagementManages small to medium application releases and projects.Manages stakeholder expectations.Design release scope and schedule in line with a business goal, prioritization, and IT capacityWork with the team of analysts and leads implementing new cloud business applications for Equinix.System ConfigurationsConfigures applications in line with business goals.Designs forward-looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmap.Develops configuration standards.Day to Day Support (Production Support)Supports and trains junior resources and oversees quality in triage and troubleshooting practices.Leads troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross-functional teams through the resolution.Identifies improvements to address repeat issues.Training and Change ManagementWorks with functional leadership teams to set expectations and conduct planning and execution of SME training activities.Defines, communicates, and implements support and engagement plans.Analyzes adoption rates and issues and assesses business case realization and proposes solutions to improve.Provides ad hoc training to various financial users on key financial applications.Vendor ManagementManages/leads individual consulting resources as assigned.Participates in vendor advisory boards and user groups.Executes medium-scale vendor evaluations, pricing negotiations, and software acquisitions.Prepares management communications and gets stakeholder input for recommendationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.10-12 years of experience working within the finance and accounting organization of a large multinational companyStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesWillingness to travel occasionally if needed.Preference to computer science, mathematics, Accounting, and related fields of study.Worked as Senior Consultant, Solution Architect, or Support Lead for Oracle Fusion EPM application modules.Hands-on experience in designing, architecting solutions, configuring, and scripting for EPM Cloud application implementation and maintenance.Decades of knowledge on knowledge on Planning, Budgeting, and forecasting modulesWorked in most of the Oracle fusion EPM applications primarily on PBCS, FCCS, EDMCS, TRCS, PCMCS, and ARCSWorked with and managed an offshore delivery and support team.Have in-depth finance functional knowledge to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.Good analytical and problem-solving abilityEquinix is an Equal Employment Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations.
