The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business, account management and revenue growth from strategic Enterprise customers, in particular prospects. The successful candidate must demonstrate extensive experience working for telecommunication carriers, cloud service providers or systems integrators selling to large enterprises, experience in the Industry and Manufacturing vertical is a plus.ResponsibilitiesBuild Relationships with new customersPlans, builds, and manages relationships with key stakeholders in assigned prospect accountsFacilitates customer relationships to ensure timely resolution of customer issuesConducts quarterly business reviews with customers to identify and develop new selling opportunitiesLeverage Internal & External PartnersCoordinates sales approach with the extended sales team (Sales Engineers, Solutions Architect, Customer Care, SSA, Commercial Solutions, Sales Operations, etc.) and partners (Reseller, Strategic Alliance, etc.) · Demonstrates consistent intra-region selling and occasional cross region exportsLeverages network of peer representatives in strategic alliance and reseller partners to map and penetrate accountsAccount Planning, Solution Selling and RenewalsResearches and documents detailed understanding of customer business, develops account plans focused on maintaining/growing accountsIdentifies customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements to match to Equinix solutions, delivering tailored pitches together with SEs/SAsFacilitates customer contract renewals and negotiationsQualificationsA Bachelor’s degree is a preferenceExperience in acquiring new business amongst Enterprises and across multiple industries, especially manufacturing.Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
