Guides others in resolving incidents, and recommends new procedures to resolve faults.ResponsibilitiesFacility/Infrastructure MaintenancePerforms site inspections and monitors the building and Data Center alarmsPerforms preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), or manages vendorsLeads repairs and corrective maintenanceAdvises other team members on repairs and preventative maintenanceLeads and coordinates critical infrastructure operationsSite AdministrationCompletion of site logs and issuing of permits, such as MOPs and scriptsIncident ManagementInstructs on-site staff during incidentsWork OrdersLeads others with work requests and circuit installationsPerforms capacity managementCollaborationIdentifies and understands underlying issues probes the factsCan identify component level faults and provide recommendations for new proceduresUtilizes resources outside of the department as necessaryAdditional ProjectsLeads infrastructure project activitiesMay recommend infrastructure projectsQualifications5+ years experience in critical facilities engineering preferredDiploma / Degree in an Engineering / Technical field preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
