This includes writing effective learning objectives, detailed course outlines, instructor-led content, eLearning and video scripts, job aids, hands-on practice exercises, and skills assessments. ResponsibilitiesExperience with advanced understanding of the sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operationsAct as a critical facilities domain expert working with the content development team to ensure project deliverables are met within projected timelinesDemonstrable experience developing technical training content for Data Center Operations teamsExperience collaborating with Technical Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, Field Trainers, and technical management to ensure training materials are technically accurate and effectiveExperience and/or willingness to learn when to incorporate multi-media components (e.g., videos, images, animations, or interactive elements) into the (e.g., instructor-led materials, eLearning, structured on-the-job training, job aids, instructional videos, games, and simulations.)Excellent writing skills with a solid attention to detail (grammar, spelling, syntax, diction, and punctuation)Work across geographies and functions to drive standardized training outcomes for a global technical audienceExperience leading training sessions in a variety of formats that may include in person, virtual and/or webinarA deep curiosity of training methods, trends, and techniques to help craft the most imaginative, effective, and engaging training solutionsStrong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and assignments and handle multiple tasks at various stages of completionExperience using off-the-shelf content authoring tools, style guides and templatesCommunicate clearly, concisely, and diplomatically in oral and written formsQualificationsSubstantial career experience in data center operations, with some experience in training and developmentExperience in a related field (e.g., industry, military, or relevant education, training and certifications including but not limited to a Bachelors degreeEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
