The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the DoD/IC, a network of key contacts, a passion for helping to enable the mission and achieving sales targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity. An active TS SCI w/ full scope poly is required. What We're Looking ForAn individual that has success hiring and developing high performing DoD/IC teams.Success adapting in fast-growing and changing environments.Strong relationships at SES level with the ability to address how Equinix can enable the mission.Success orchestrating and aligning decision makers around a common objective.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base within the DoD/IC sector.Review the activities and performance of staff under supervision, setting expectations and providing mentorship and direction as needed.Accurately forecast quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned region, dedication to the number and to deadlines.Effectively manage segment by considering all accounts collectively; establish accurate account plans and forecasts; prioritize efforts; generate short-term results while holding a long-term perspective to achieve overall results.Attend industry events, conferences, and training sessions to stay current on market trends and competitive insights.Understand the complex regulatory and compliance requirements of selling to the DoD/IC and ensure adherence at all levelsDevelop & lead integrated campaigns with marketing, channel, and customer success teams to drive pipeline growth. Monitor results and adjust strategies as needed.Unearth customer insights, define value proposition, determine appropriate sales and marketing strategy to improve growth objectives.Maintain market and competitor intelligence and develop strategies to maintain the Company’s competitiveness.Work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources; collaborate with sales engineering, channels/alliances, professional services, product, legal, marketing, and engineering teams to build a seamless customer experience.Use CR, analytics and reporting systems (Salesforce/Clari) extensively.QualificationsTS SCI with full scope polygraph10+ years experienceBachelor's Degree requiredExperience leading DOD/IC  sales teams.Strong leadership skills with a capability to lead a high-performing sales team.Experience selling Digital Transformation solutions to the DOD/ICSolid understanding of the defense industry, its decision-making processes, and procurement cycles.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
