Manages and leads the development and implementation of physical security programs and projects that have strategic global physical security impact, aimed at customer and operational improvement. Budgets and forecasts global, sub-regional/regional operational security enhancements, training & documentation needs utilizing expert industry and project management knowledge and best practices. Collaborates with global and regional security leaders to develop and implement the operational physical security strategy and systems roadmap. Ensures all hardware and software dependencies are fully compliant with global/regional requirements for system production and ensure customer SLA guidelines.ResponsibilitiesPeople ManagementManages and leads the team responsible for Global Physical Security Center of Excellence led programs, project delivery and management of core IT security product platforms.Provides management and leadership across the team to ensure the team's growth is in alignment with the organization’s business need, while setting goals for immediate team members.Ensures KPI's are in place for the team which are appropriate for the needs of the function and its stakeholdersProvides leadership, guidance to the Regional Physical Security teams, including vendor management, performance results and strategy for improvement through individual and team meetings, as well as skip levelsDevelops and motivates team members, drives results within the team, perform analysis of employee feedback and create/implement install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the security systems/platforms for the organizationCoordinates and manages Single Point of Failure (SPOF) and End of Life (EOL) reviews, including performing system and platform resilience audits, assessments and remediationResponsible for vendor, manufacture and internal IT/Product team escalation of systems errors and failuresTrainingContributes to identifying and developing training programsResponsible for training programsMonitors training plans and performance to ensure that plans are on track and performance is met, with regular reviewDevelops industry knowledge and may provide recommendations for the teamQualificationsDemonstrated physical security career focusDemonstrated people management
