They may generally employ skills across multiple disciplines including visual design, interaction design, user research, prototyping, and content strategy. They may manage other FTE or contract UX resources in this effort.ResponsibilitiesInteraction DesignDevelop a range of UX deliverables, including task flows, information architecture (IA) diagrams, design studies, wireframes, and high-fidelity interface mockupsProvide line-level creative direction for a particular functional domain of responsibilityLead, present, defend, and articulate design work in design reviews with colleagues and stakeholdersExecute interaction design as a part of a multi-disciplinary teamResearch interaction design trendsUX Strategy/SME ConsultationApply critical thinking to a variety of complex user problems, taking into account user needs, business objectives, and technical constraintsAct as an internal UX SME for other internal or third-party projects, to ensure design consistency and sharing of best practicesPrototypingDetermine need for prototyping efforts, based on functional complexity and requirement specificsSocialize prototypes via design reviews, stakeholder reviews, or 1:1 usability sessionsQualificationsEssential: Figma and Design System fluencyPreferred: 7+ years experience, Bachelor's degree, Research skills, Designing for SaaS, IaaS, PaaS experienceEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
