As part of this transformation, Equinix is expanding its reach to new personas who would like to consume Digital Infrastructure related services in a cloud-based consumption model. This transformation involves integrating multiple shared services (e.g. quote-to-cash systems, identity management, user portals, etc.) into existing business processes and systems across the company. This integration demands signification coordination and communication across multiple stakeholder teams such as Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product & Engineering, IT, etc. We are looking for a Principal Program Manager to own and drive these integrations. This is an Individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Platform & Engineering Services Responsibilities Expert in overall Technology Program and Portfolio Management, Stakeholder Management and Communications, Program Reporting, Tooling and Methodologies Establish, define, and track against program goals, R&Rs, KPIs, roadmap, and detailed plans ensuring alignment and coordination with stakeholders and team participants across departmentsClearly communicate progress, change, and status updates to executive leadershipInfluence and work through others where direct reporting relationships do not existOrganization skills that mitigate against human error and drive continual improvementEffective collaboration with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to assemble project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and lead the resolution of blocking issuesWork with product and engineering management to advocate for priorities, clarifying needs and value and securing commitment from teams across the organization, setting timelines, and leading cross-functional teams from design through deliveryDrive operational process improvements across multiple teams and functions, to ensure transparency to program and team goals, commitments, risks, and deliverable qualityIdentify and develop solutions to impediments or bottlenecks that pose a risk to the program success and communicate any trade-offs that may result from these solutionsAbility to map dependencies and relationships between projects and teams, coordinating work across disparate teamsLeverage data to identify, define, and prioritize tools, automation, and data that would yield improved and more efficient customer valueWork across time zones on a global scale, as needed QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical field of study or equivalent work experience7+ years of Project/Program Management experience, in software product development environments for large, global organizations3 years of experience with Agile or other program management methodologiesPMP Certification strongly preferredExperienced coordinating and communicating with organizational leadersAdept using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or similar tools for tracking and reporting on program progressAbility to work across time zones on a global scale, as neededEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
