Works with Business Groups to define their global IT requirements and to analyze appropriate solutions. Manages projects from inception to completion with matrix, global teams.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line support to users of Oracle Cloud ERPResponding to help desk queriesProviding one-on-one support, explanations, and guidance to users regarding finance operationsTriaging data issues, process issues, and user errors prior to escalating to ITPerforms financial systems maintenance (e.g. Chart of Accounts, Revaluation rules, open/close periods, alternate reporting hierarchies, etc.)Schedules system processesTroubleshoots interface/import file issuesMonitor inbound/outbound interfaces for data issues, ensuring system synchronizationMaintain and set up globally consistent standard reports, and provide ad-hoc reporting guidanceLiaise with IT and business users to define and prioritize business-related issues associated with systemsUse a broad understanding of business and systems to identify possible business issues related to system designs, and evaluate enhancement requests from usersPartner with other system owners to ensure data quality, timing, and financial reporting impacts are fully understoodCoordinate user acceptance testing for new system or enhancement releases.  This involves assistance with the creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the scheduleQualificationsAcademic background in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, IT, or related fieldsExtensive years of experience working within the finance and accounting organization of a Fortune 1000 companyWorked on Oracle Cloud applications like Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Purchasing andExposure to the Finance processStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to understand and assimilate new ideas and manage changeWillingness to aggressively set and achieve goals with a minimum of directionExcellent planning and organizational skills combined with strong written and oral communication skillsStrong analytical skills and some technical accounting knowledge with strong attention to detailStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesHands-on experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud ERP2 - 3 years experience  in multinational companiesEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
