This is a remote-based position located in United States / Canada.Calix partners with hundreds of broadband service providers (BSPs), including many who serve their local communities. These local providers have deep roots in their communities and have made it their mission to enhance the subscriber experience. Built upon the Wi-Fi Alliance Passpoint architecture, SmartTown Wi-Fi adds network security and content filtering to provide a private, secure, and safe experience for on-the-go subscribers. Calix SmartTown Wi-Fi managed service is a unique community Wi-Fi solution, differentiated from the dedicated public, private, and large cable network Wi-Fi in place today. SmartTown Wi-Fi provides community-wide coverage by combining wide-scale residential and small business GigaSpire Wi-Fi systems with strategically deployed hotspot GigaPro Wi-Fi access points in public gathering areas, event centers, and private locations. The Solution Specialist elevates our customer engagements to expose opportunities and challenges a BSP will experience unique to them. To accomplish this, the Solution Specialist must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.Responsibilities and Duties:Deep understanding of our customers Go To Market (GTM) strategy, Network structures, and strategic goalsWork closely with internal partners within Sales, Customer Success, Solution Engineering, and DeliveryCustomer facing presentations and customized demonstration of Calix Cloud solutionsBasic project management, best practice documentation, and urgent escalation of support/technical items outside of your capabilitiesEvangelism across industry stakeholders, customer stakeholders, and internal stakeholdersWork to attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management Qualifications:5+ years customer-facing sales experienceBackground in explaining the technical aspects of SaaS solutions and articulating their valueKnowledge of broadband networks and supporting softwareKnowledge of an integrated ecosystem SaaS model“Owner mindset” to drive the success of the SmartTown solution for our BSP customers and the communities they serve“Growth mindset” to capture market quickly while looking for new ways to expand our capabilities and market penetrationAbility to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environmentsAbility to travel based on territory alignment and regionMust have a valid driver's licenseBachelor or University Degree Strongly PreferredProfessional oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skillsTravel expectations: Up to 40% domestic travel#LI-Remote
