Job Summary:Job SummaryBrooklyn Bowl, located in the LINQ Promenade in the heart of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, has redefined the destination entertainment experience. Following in the footsteps of our original Brooklyn location, noted as “one of the most incredible places on Earth,” by Rolling Stone, we’ve stacked the deck for a truly unforgettable experience.With three levels spanning nearly 80,000 square feet, it’s one of the largest music venues in America. Brooklyn Bowl integrates a premier performance venue, food by Blue Ribbon, bars which feature local craft brewed beers, and 32 bowling lanes which give guests a unique place to relax, eat, drink and watch a performance.The Stagehand is responsible for ensuring the success of the show and event productions by performing technical aspects related to the shows production. They assist in the assembly and disassembly of show productions including loading and unloading trucks, assembling equipment on stage, and construction of set pieces, risers, and musical equipment. The Stagehand will assist with video, sound, and light production before, during, and after the show.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Performs the Load-in of band equipment and rental equipmentResponsible for securing required passes and tickets and prepares guest lists.Cabling; assist audio crew as directedBand Set changesEnsure that members of the Band(s) have required items needed to perform the show(s).Control access points including backstage, dressing rooms, etc as directedResponsible for communicating the details of the evening’s event to production crewResponsible for hanging show banners, updating marquees and other signage in the venueResponsible for coordinating the food trays for the band in the Music HallAssist lighting crew as directed; Spotlight operation if requiredMaintenance and Repair of Sound, Light and Stage EquipmentMay assist the Stage Manager with show passesMaintain and secure House Backline, and suppliesMaintain curtains, drapes, risers and other staging itemsAssist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.Assist lighting crew with fixtures, lambs, gels, cabling, etc.Operate and care for stage areas in a safe, clean mannerAssist with any Special Events operationsNON-PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experienceExperience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systemsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency with all Microsoft applicationsMust possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skillsTechnically minded/knowledge of show production preferredCapable of following instructions and working well with othersHigh School DiplomaTHE PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW ARE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION.
