Job Summary:THE JOBThe Box Office Seller will protectively interact with guests to provide information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at the Louisville Palace Theatre & Mercury Ballroom. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOFinancial / Cash HandlingEnsure compliance of Clubs & Theaters cash handling policies and proceduresBalancing and reconciling daily/nightly ticket salesAssist Manager/Supervisor in reconciliation of cash drawers and ticket stockAssisting Manager & Supervisor with internal Ticket Orders and ReportsCustomer ServicePrompt, courteous and knowledgeable customer service both in person and over the phoneFacilitate night of show Will Call & Guest List OperationsTroubleshooting night of show issues (Transfers, barcodes, account issues, etc.)Work with Guest Services/Operations on any ADA requirementsProviding knowledge of upcoming events & upgrades availableKnowledgeable on the events culture and genreProviding positive energyWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGRequired:Working Knowledge of Phone Handling, Cashiering, Customer ServiceEntry level knowledge of basic computer operation and Point of Sales systemsSkill in guest relations, phone etiquette, cash handling, filing, multi-task environment, attention to detailAbility to communicate, work well with others, work in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environmentAbility to type 30 wpmHigh School DiplomaHave a positive attitudeKeep a clean, well-groomed appearancePreferred:Previous Ticketing experienceWorking knowledge of Windows based PC programsPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-pacedPosition requires repetitive use of arms for answering busy phones and typing
