You will work closing with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. If you have a strong foundation in backend development, are willing to learn new technologies, and have experience with NLU (Natural Language Understanding) components, we want to hear from you.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance backend web services that support various Ticketmaster applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements, and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.Utilize cloud concepts and services to architect and deploy web services in a reliable and scalable manner.Work on projects involving NLU components, including intent predictions and entity checks, to enhance conversational experiences within our platforms.Explore and learn new programming languages as required for specific projects.Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely solutions to ensure smooth operations.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s technical growth.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)You will be required to demonstrate a high-level of business acumen together with a strong level of sector knowledge, relating to the international ticketing and live entertainment business.Strong operational experience in contact centre’sStrong written and verbal communications skills and must be fluent in Local language with strong English skills.Experience with building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, i.e. complex reimbursement processes and discussions.Experience in ticketing, live events, promoting, e-business, media or entertainment industries preferred.Demonstrated leadership ability.Innovative and flexible approach – thrive to find solutions outside the box.Working with a sense of urgency to deliver results.The ability to express business value through data.Team player, able to engage and motivate people.Results orientated, experienced in achieving targets and implementing initiatives.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in backend web development with the ability to adapt to new programming languages.Familiarity with cloud concepts and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Experience with programming languages such as Groovy, Python, and JavaScript is preferred.Knowledge of NLU components and conversational AI is a significant plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.Experience in the live entertainment or ticketing industry is a bonus, but not required.TICKETMASTER VALUESRock Solid Reliability – Must be able to earn the trust of clients, co-workers and fans; by setting clear expectations; delivering high-quality work on time and on task.
