You will improve the employee experience, delivering key enhancements to our learning systems in line with eBay technology strategic plans and the use of AI as part of the learning experience. The Learning Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, administration, and integration of Learning technology systems with eBay GCX existing enterprise technology solutions and driving a connected and cohesive strategy across our learning technology and software to enable our self-directed learning ambitions.Role responsibilitiesDrive our learning technology roadmap, ensuring a short-medium- and long-term approach is taken across all types of learning technology.Implement infrastructure that advances our Learning strategy for AI across GCX. Act as a leader with vision on the application of AI in learning, with an initial focus on guiding our Learning team on the safe, effective, and ethical implementation of AIProvide strategic input to learning projects; leading thinking and strategic planning for design, implementation, and direction of AI initiatives and able to get business leaders excited based on the ability to drive business impact using AI learning strategies.Drive and manage the development of Learning AI systems and capability from concept to production with suppliers, partners, and internal software and hardware teams.Partner with collaborators across the business teams to gain agreement and sponsorship for the learning technology plan to ensure successful delivery.Provide LEaD with new learning technology and AI tools and functionality to construct more individualised, immersive learning experiences while automating time-consuming tasks.Deliver key strategic learning tech projects, working closely within Learning, Effectiveness a Development, and business partners to ensure learning technology and the learner experience is at the heart of all decision making.Design process flows and UX visuals to outline learning experiences and journeys to inform tech requirements.Use AI, data & analytics to critically review and evaluate existing learning solutions. Present data in a compelling way to report back to the business, make recommendations for improvements and support future cases.Manage the day-to-day learning technology eco-system, partnering internally and with vendors to set our strategy for content libraries, learning pathways, evaluation and Learning insight.Manage LMS's and learning technology vendors, improving the user experience, system performance (including data integrations and quality) and delivering key system enhancements in line with ebay's Technology strategic plans.Manage and ensure full capability and compatibility of all new and existing learning and knowledge sharing systems, tools, and integrations.Coordinate with our learning teams to gather system/platform technical requirements, determine functional and reporting design needs, and ensure a successful user experience that’s supports achievement of desired learning outcomes.Work directly with multi-functional system owners in Tech, People Experience and other parts of the organisation to create and maintain integration points for full system functionality.Assess and evaluate where technology can deliver new effective and efficient ways to learn across the business, with a continuous improvement attitude, to research, develop and launch innovation within digital learning and AICollaborate across the Learning teams and GCX teams more broadly to support successful adoption and integration of learning instructional tools.Stay current on developments with online learning technologies to drive innovative and improved learning experiences.Deliver presentations to leadership sharing visions, plans and progress on projects you are leading on.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.Role requirementsMinimum four years of relevant work experience.You have a strong experience in technology, digital and AI learning, with expertise in LMS and LXP technology requirements and development.You have UX-UI design skills to draw out user experiences, partnering with internal tech teams and vendors to design solutions.Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or instructional systems design required.Experience managing data migration, creating collaborate with an LMS, and performing quality testing, and maintenance for ensuring the ideal end-user experience.Demonstrated ability to motivate change, technology innovation and integration in a fast-paced environment.Experience working within IT systems, IT security, and handling sensitive and secure data.Demonstrated experience managing teams and working multi-functionally with other technical and non-technical teams.Learning principles and User Experience and User Interface design and/or process mappingUnderstanding of HR data structures, API’s, Networking technology/terminology, Java, HTML, CSSProject Management skillsExcellent consulting and critical analysis skillsAble to collaborate and communicate beyond your own team/function.Senior Partner management with an ability to communicate information and data to a senior audience in a compelling way.Strong verbal and written communication skillsGood attention to detail and organisational skillsExperience working with Microsoft Office 365Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
