This responsibility is company-wide and global.The team works closely with eBay’s Executive Leadership, Business Unit leaders and Strategy teams to utilize M&A or investments to accomplish strategic and business objectives. We assess opportunities to ensure a strong strategic rationale including the case for buying vs. building vs. Partnering. We evaluate the organizational fit and integration plan, develop the business case, diligence targets, perform valuation, structure, negotiate and execute transactions. The team also works closely with business and cross-functional teams to project manage transactions from start to finish. We are currently seeking an accomplished, well-rounded professional to join our high caliber team.This professional will play an important role in the Corporate Development Team's projects and activities. This will include:Develop and implement decision-making frameworks to evaluate acquisition and investment opportunitiesDrive consensus on complex strategic questions with engagement from senior management, cross-functional and cross-regional teamsPrepare executive-ready presentations with strategic framing, analysis, and recommendationsIdentify and evaluate (in collaboration with eBay's business units and strategy team) potential candidates for acquisition or investmentConduct rigorous valuation analyses (using multiple methodologies) and business/integration case modeling Coordinate due diligence and evaluate the due diligence results.Facilitate and manage acquisition and investment processes with cross-functional groups involving p business units, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Site Operations, Product Management, and Product Development teamsThis is an impactful role with high visibility within eBay. The decision for the candidate to be hired as a Sr. Manager or Manager will depend on prior experience and ability to deliver with high impact on the team.Candidates for the position should have the following minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
