Controls advisory, policy governance and controls testing/adherence monitoring.Job SummaryAs a Sr. Compliance Analyst you will be responsible to identify and evaluate risks (regulatory, financial, operational etc.) within GCX, work with the organization to develop mitigation strategies and develop controls.You will be part of a distributed team which will support ebay by proactively and reactively investigating risks and report those to ebay management in order to protect ebay, its customers and employees.Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate risks of all types within GCX organization.Execute risk evaluation methodologies to incorporate into business changes such as new product introduction, changes in payment standards, and internal process changes.Assist and perform organization wide risk assessments and conduct risk management workshops with various partners.Assist the organization with the development of business processes and controls.Perform audits of controls and risk areas on established frequency, perform risk and process gap assessments.Develop testing plans, maintain and implement testing based on plan. Conduct ongoing formal testing of the design and operating efficiency of critical operational processes.Prepare regulatory reporting with appropriate data governance controls.Identify remediation areas/issues, follow up on open issues.Assist the business in developing process, policies, and controls, document process controls, flowcharts, policies.Analyze data and reports to identify anomalies.Perform investigations over risk incidents and reports.Identify process improvements and simplification of processes and systems.Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience4-+ years of audit (internal or external), controls, compliance, and/or risk operations experience, preferably within the e-commerce or financial services industryExperience with risk assessments, documenting and evaluating risks.Experience identifying and documenting internal controls.Experience testing internal controls, developing test procedures, and testing plans.Experience managing and building strong relationships with key partners.Experience recommending improvement solutions.Ability to take initiative to achieve results.Strong communication skills to educate/raise awareness of foundational elements/methodologies needed to support an internal control framework.Confident in managing and identifying key risk areas and generating solutions to address.Experience assessing, supervising, and remediating deficient controls.Experience with investigations and reporting findings.Proficient at navigating through ambiguity along with balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced changing environmentPreferred Requirements:Risk, audit, compliance certifications are a plus (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFA, CISA, etc.)Experience and familiarization with formalized risk and controls frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT, etc.)Familiarity with regulatory environments and evaluating risk/controls to ensure organizational compliance (e.g., GDPR, Digital Services Act (DSA), Consumer Duty, Sarbanes Oxley, various payments regulations), in US and international.Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
