Scope:The Execution Machine Learning team works closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to design and implement the next generation of retail solutions. Data Science team members are tasked with turning both small, sparse, and massive data into actionable insights with measurable improvements to the customer bottom line. They use rigorous analysis and repeatable processes to implement both black box and interpretable models.Our machine learning platform ingests data in real time, processes information from millions of retail items to serve deep learning models, and produces billions of predictions on a daily basisWhat you’ll do:Develops quality software according to clean code principles and BY standards, including writing effective test casesContinuously improves themselves and the code they produceContributes to designs of individual storiesDesign, develop, and implement front-end capabilities using ReactJSWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to software development best practices.Actively provides feedback during code reviewsAutonomously plans and performs routine changesIndependently resolves incidents around a limited set of service functionsIdentifies operational issues and brings them to the attention of the teamWhat we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree (in Computer science or related specialization) and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software developmentProgramming experience and background in React JS, Node JS, Angular JS, Design Patterns, Restful Web services, Ajax, SQL programmingDemonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions (we use Azure) in AWS, Azure and or GCPDemonstrable experience working with microservices based architecture on Cloud at scale.Experience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologiesHands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software developmentDemonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solutionand Cloud Scalability, performance and High availabilityApplication Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architectureCloud Technologies: MS Azure Platform ExperienceOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
