Overview Blue Yonder has an opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager with TMS, WMS, Planning - Mfg. CPG within our Consulting Services group. This position is open to candidates with a software solution background in Transportation Management (TMS) or Warehouse Management (WMS) or Manufacturing Planning. This position requires up to 50% and will be a virtual role in North America.Responsibilities Lead project team in the resolution of customer project issues, escalating to appropriate parties as neededCollaborate with appropriate Blue Yonder resources on customer's business, organization and culture to strengthen their credibility as trusted advisorsAssist in generating Statement of Work and customer proposal documentsHelp validate and produce appropriate baseline project plans and templatesWork with appropriate parties to plan project resource requirementsProvide guidance, feedback, coaching, and developmental experiences to project team membersAssess project performance and communicates lessons learned to increase institutional knowledgeEnsure project team adheres to Blue Yonder policies, procedures, methodologies and quality standardsManage services engagements including interactions with client project team and client executivesResolve all project issues including budget, timeline, accounts receivable, scope changes, software functionality and technologyProvide regular project communication and status reportingManages project quality to ensure customer satisfactionLead process change and serve as a subject matter expert to drive key decisionsIdentify Key Performance Indicators, develop baseline measurements, establish ongoing measurement processes, measure and present quantifiable resultsEnsure that projects deliver the value/ROI sold with the engagementBuild collaborative relationship that increases customer's perception of the value Blue Yonder brings to their business and expands future business opportunitiesMaintain a full understanding of our competitor’s software and service solutionsKeep individual and project expenses within budgetRecord cost-transfer time to other Blue Yonder teams, as appropriateEscalate issues that may have negative financial impactManage service engagement budgetsReview billing for all active accountsRecord and reports on billable time to customerMaximize margin on service engagementsEnsure supporting project documentation is in order and submitted timelyMaintain project compliance to Blue Yonder’s project management methodologyContribute to the ongoing development of project management, implementation, and solution templates and best practicesEffectively identify and close additional software and service opportunities within your client baseQualifications PMP certification preferred, or other methodologies.8+ years’ experience in the Manufacturing/CPG industry; experience managing major software solutions in these areas is required.Deep understanding of Manufacturing/CPG business processes, with specific work experience in these business areas.Experience implementing TMS and/or WMS and/or Mfg. Planning solutionsEntrepreneurial drive and work ethicProven experience working as a Project Manager or similar capacity.Knowledgeable in project management best practices.Demonstrated leadership experience in a software consulting, implementation or development projects.Demonstrated experience presenting and interfacing with C-Level ExecutivesSkilled at leading and coordinating across diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes.Ability to resolve complex problems with little to no guidanceCapable of facilitating (design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc).Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor, coach and train.Excellent communication, client relationship and analytical skills.Well organized and consistently meets commitments.Self-starter / able to work and lead groups independentlyComfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced surroundingHighly developed organizational skillsStrong analytical skills, particularly in requirements gathering, root cause analysis, problem resolution, and quality assuranceProven ability to identify potential problems/outstanding tasks, and finding solutionsProven track record with exceptional follow-throughExcellent analytical, writing and presentation skills.-------------------------------------------Salary range $105,000.00 - $135,000.00 base, plus annual bonuThe salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
