Blue Yonder Title: Senior Specialist, Associate Relations Other Comparable titles:Senior Employee Relations Specialist Overview:The Senior Specialist, Associate Relations will partner with Management, Legal, and other members of Associate Success (Human Resources) throughout EMEA and HR Operations to drive a consistent approach in interpreting and applying Company policies, procedures, and practices while providing end-to-end regulatory compliance and support for corrective action and performance improvement processes. The Senior Specialist, Associate Relations acts as a liaison and collaborates with others on the Associate Success Team on escalated matters to ensure compliance with company policies and established procedures, while supporting the Associate Success Team on various Associate Success projects or initiatives. Blue Yonder maintains a team first mindset, and this role must be willing to step up to help the entire team, as needed. Scope:Serve as point of contact to provide support and clarity to management on performance improvement, grievance, policy violations, health and wellbeing, and disciplinary action matters, throughout the employment relationship up to and including recommendations for termination of employment.Occasionally conducts independent, prompt, and thorough investigations of associate relations matters, leveraging effective interview techniques, and documenting findings and recommendations for appropriate resolution, while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.      What you’ll do:Actively collaborate in evaluating and resolving workplace concerns within the context of a growth mindset, escalating matters appropriately to ensure proper notification and consultation, including providing associate relation case management advise, coaching leadership, facilitating mediation and/or conflict resolution, and advising on change management initiatives.Assists in the development, implementation, and training of policies, procedures, and programs, maintaining updates to Associate Success process documentation.Partner with Management, HR Operations, Legal, and Associate Success Business Partners on all performance management and associate relations issues, maintaining and monitoring the associate relations tracker to ensure all associate relations cases are remedied in a timely manner.Identifies and recommends sustainable process improvement opportunities to accomplish effective performance management outcomes.What we are looking for: 3-6 years of Employee Relations, Performance Management, Labor Relations, or Employment Law experienceBA/BS degree in HR Management, Business, or related fieldExperience with works councilsIdeally ability to speak fluent German or French, in addition to EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Office and related softwareConsistent exercise of discretion and confidentiality in matters of significanceKnowledge of the principles and practices of human resources and performance management, consistently implementing with moderate supervisionSolid understanding of applicable employment laws, regulations, ordinances, guidelines and policiesAbility to influence and coach at all levels of the organizationAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingStrong analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills with keen attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple demands effectively based on business needsAbility to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.Experience working in a global, complex, and dynamic environmentAbility to adapt and operate as an optimistic change agentOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
