Job DescriptionAssembler IStatus: Non-Exempt (Hourly)Position Summary:The Assembler uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts. Conducts quality control checks. Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical termsDiscern quality of parts and materials used in productionInventory parts and tools used in the assembling processFollow company procedures and directivesMust be able to use and operate hand toolTest finished products for defectsMaintain the tools used to create productsKeep a clean and well-maintained workspaceEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training is preferredDriven and self-motivated individualGood communication skillsPhysical fitness and strength to lift 50 lbs. unassistedExcellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around manufacturing demandPay Rate:$15.54 - $44.30We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
