Systems Test TechnicianStatus: Non-Exempt (hourly)Department: Operations/ManufacturingPosition SummaryPerform fuel cell component and system testing, test support functions, and maintenance for fuel cell system and component testing.  This position requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise, the ability to work in a team environment, and the desire to get involved in a fast-paced production environment. Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide diagnostic troubleshooting and repair guidance and direction of manufactured products.Compile test results and rework when needed while maintaining logs of tests and repairs.Troubleshoot and lead efforts to resolve problems with components and systems in test.Serve as a point of contact to manufacturing Cell Leaders on product quality, and test operations.Thoroughly understand lab systems operation and possess the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions.Exhibit and enforce the safety procedures in the facility.Provide technical support for the work efforts of other technicians in test facility.Maintain 5S throughout the day.Performs other related duties as assignedQualifications and Experience At least 2+ years test, manufacturing or operations related experience required.AAS degree preferred.High degree of manual dexterity and mechanical aptitudeComfort operating hand/power tools safely and efficientlyAbility to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around manufacturing demandAbility to operate a computer and perform computer transactions accuratelyBasic familiarity with Microsoft Office software programsQuality focused and detail-orientedTeam player with a positive communication styleAbility to stand and/or and sit for long periods of time in performance of job functionsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Pay Rate:$17.63 - $23.48We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
