Equipment Package ManagerPosition SummaryThe Equipment Package Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of Plug Process Systems (PPS) Production Operations to ensure compliance with PPS production execution processes and procedures. The Equipment Package Manager, under the direction of the Production Manager and in collaboration with the assigned Project Engineers and Project management teams, leads the efficient and timely execution of assigned equipment packages to ensure production is completed on time, on budget and to the highest standards of quality and technical specifications. This Equipment Package Manager will also support Procurement, Quality, Project Management, Project Controls and Proposals activities as it relates to production.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn coordination with the assigned Project Engineer and under the supervision of the Production Manager, lead the execution of assigned equipment package production.Responsible for assigned package activities: production planning and oversite; solving issues, mitigating risks and identifying potential opportunities; scheduling and leading vendor progress meetings; tracking documentation and deliverables; maintaining Action Item Register and Minutes of Meetings; monitoring actual progress verse planned progress; tracking and reporting production performance (S-Curves and Percent Complete); ITP & logistics planning and scheduling; reports to Production Operations, PMO and Project Teams; and general production operations administration. Develop and maintain Master Production Plans and provide regular updates on POC, production KPIs, production schedules, ITP schedules, and logistics schedule, for assigned equipment packages.Update associated Production Plan and provide regular progress and schedule updates to Project Controls/PMO and support the development of the Master Project Schedule, Project Status Reports, and Project S-Curves.Work with the Project Controls Manager, Project Manager, and Project Scheduler to build and maintain individual project schedules, as required.Prepare FAT and RTS Notifications for submittal to Project Controls/PMO team.Maintain and publish the associated ITP and Logistics schedule to Production Operations, Plug Logistics, and PMO/Project Control Teams.Ensure vendor deliverables are submitted on time and returned by responsible PPS parties in the prescribed timeframe.Issue, monitor and expedite Free-Issued Materials Lists and track material receipt at the vendors; resolve issues with delivery and inventory tracking; expedite orders as required.Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate production progress to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate to the team for action.In coordination with PM and PC, execute Management of Change process and procedures on assigned packages.As required, support the procurement activities to include preparation of Project Procurement Plans, RFPs, Bid Tabs and POs.Support the development, standardization, and implementation of procedures and workflows across the Production Operations department, communicate the procedures and ensure that staff adherence to procedures.Provide Production Operations support to the Project Controls Manager with the administration of the Plug Process Systems (PPS) ERP System – PROCORE.Secondary DutiesComplete special projects as requested by the Director of Production Operations.Other duties as assigned.SkillsMeticulous and diligent – ability to focus on detail and check data for errors.Problem Sensitivity – The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
