Technical Business Analyst – Industrial Manufacturing, Hydrogen Plant*Technical networking & SCADA experience required*Status: Exempt (salaried) Department: Energy SolutionsPosition SummaryThe Technical Business Analyst is a critical member of the Hydrogen Energy Manufacturing and Solutions team. This role is responsible for developing requirements for manufacturing technology systems, solutions and needs. This individual will be responsible for defining the required connectivity to Plug’s enterprise network, external vendor systems and support. This role will support the plants by acting as the direct liaison to Plug IT to consolidate and expedite the deployment and future changes of the OT Network. The TBA should possess extensive technical experience in defining MES, SCADA, PLC requirements providing Plug IT with detailed actionable data for architecting and implementing secure, compliant and controlled access. This individual should have a solid working knowledge of plant operations, control systems, security, and ability to technically communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop central requirements for the Industrial IT network for H2 production facilities.Work with Plug IT to define, document and establish hardware and software standards for the Industrial IT network and its applications communicating this to the business units to help centrally align manufacturing and business future developments.Define SCADA requirements for all manufacturing teams.Coordinate the internal and external requirements for the utilization of Industrial applications.Provide leadership in representing energy solutions within the IT/OT topology.Define specific use cases for OT network hardware and software for reliable function of the industrial IT network.Develop and maintain vendor and technical remote access requirements to H2 production control systems.Develop and maintain personnel and vendor requirements for access control systems for H2 facility security.Develop and deliver training to engineering and business teams for system interfacing and troubleshootingMaintain regular engagement with H2 infrastructure stakeholders to understand H2 system performance needs.Collaborate with energy solutions team to develop methods for data acquisition and interpretation of system data.Always represent Plug Power in a professional manner and in all interactionsExempt employees are expected to work as many hours as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
