The successful candidate will play a crucial role in various engineering activities, including the development of new capacity modeling tools, facility simulations, supporting the establishment of new facilities, and more. This role is vital in enhancing the efficiency of our manufacturing processes and ensuring the successful realization of our business forecasts.Responsibilities:Strategic Capacity Modeling and Analysis:Design, deploy, and manage cutting-edge capacity modeling and facility simulation software.Conduct comprehensive analyses to evaluate production capacities, forecast alignment, and identify areas for strategic growth.Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Leadership in Facility Development and Support:Lead the planning and execution of new manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with business strategies.Provide expert guidance and support for existing facilities, enhancing operational excellence.Advanced Process Mapping and Continuous Improvement:Spearhead the analysis, mapping, and optimization of manufacturing processes.Drive and implement improvements by leveraging data-driven insights, best practices, and innovative methodologies.Collaborate across departments to promote a cohesive and synergistic approach to process excellence.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).Minimum 7-10 years of experience in industrial engineering, capacity modeling, or similar senior roles.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and tools.Proficiency in capacity modeling software and other relevant engineering tools.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Pay Rate:$75,240.00 - $112,860.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
