Senior Project Manager – MFG OperationsStatus: Exempt (salaried)                                                                  Department: MFG OperationsPosition SummaryThe Senior Project Manager plays an important role in the development and execution of projects & initiatives to support manufacturing operations.  This individual will coordinate with interdepartmental functions to efficiently allocate resources while also interfacing with key stakeholders to help define priorities for project initiatives within the Manufacturing Operations organization. They will be responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and PMO control guidelines throughout the full project life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.Principle Accountabilities:Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives/projects that span one or multiple lines of business to include but are not limited to: Manufacturing Process Improvements, Facilities and Equipment moves or upgrades (excluding construction), and Business Process/Continuous Improvements.Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones. This includes but is not limited to:Prepare estimates and detailed project plan(s) for all phases of the projectProvide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership. Manage project scope and changesDevelop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues                                                                  Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program teamCore Duties and Responsibilities:Support improvements in safety, production quality, production capacity, and cost reduction initiativesManage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolutionDevelop and drive consistent project management methodology and status reportingWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellenceDefine success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycleUnderstand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needsReport on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activitiesEducation and ExperienceBS/BA degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field8 to 10 years’ experience working as a Project Manager, leading large project initiatives. Excellent project management skills (PMP certification preferred)Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/WaterfallStrong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business groups.Experience in leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding teams accountable for performanceProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectiveStrong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, across all levels of managementExperience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, team members and peersSelf-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsTechnically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Project, Smartsheet and Lucid ChartPay Rate:$86,815.00 - $138,904.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
