Systems Integration Engineer

As a Systems Integration Engineer I, you will be using your skills and expertise to deploy and maintain the Flight Software and Flight Software Simulator development environments. As a cross functional engineer, you'll perform system and component-level integration of new products and develop new integration processes throughout the product lifecycle.A successful candidate will have the ability to work on assigned tasks with little guidance. Learn more about Sierra Space.  Must-haves:Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and typically 0-2 or more years of related experienceConceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices.Exposure to working in multidisciplinary design & development teamsFamiliarity with requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principlesPreferred:Intermediate knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Rocky)Ability to create scripts with Bash/PythonAbility to create documentation for end-user.Experience managing user access on Linux systems.Technical problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative technical solutions.Ability to apply technical principles, theories, and concepts.
