Job Requisition ID #23WD70811Position Overview The Finance Analyst plays a crucial role in developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. This position provides comprehensive financial support and analysis, with a primary focus on consolidating monthly financial results and preparing reporting packages for Corporate Finance and Executive Staff. The Finance Analyst also conducts technical analysis to assess present and future financial performance.This position typically reports to EMEA WP&T OPS DirectorResponsibilities Financial Planning and Control:Collaborate with the EMEA WP&T group to prepare and manage budgetsAnalyze actual spending against budgeted/forecasted amounts and provide explanations for variancesReconcile accounts and ensure compliance with government and company proceduresAssist in shaping and implementing financial and accounting policies and programsWork across divisions to formulate policies and establish processesCollaborate with Corporate Finance BP to roll out new policies and processes to the financial community and monitor complianceEnsure consistent adherence to policies and processes in the EMEA region Financial AnalysisCollaborate with Finance Managers and business groups to conduct various analyses, such as headcount analysis and operating expense analysisUtilize spreadsheet software to analyze and manipulate dataRegularly or ad hoc report information to business groups and managementReview financial statements to determine month-end accruals Accounting:Stay updated on accounting rules and act as a gatekeeper to minimize risk and safeguard the company's financial statementsPrepare information for Financial Analysts by establishing and maintaining accounting systems and infrastructurePost journal entries into the financial system and provide guidance to business groups regarding GL accounts for postingMaintain and reconcile ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completenessProvide a comprehensive record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactionsMay be required to perform consolidations and manipulate financial data while preparing corporate books Minimum Qualifications2-4 years of experience working as a finance analystBachelor's degree in finance or a relevant subjectExpertise in using Excel and PowerBIStrong communication skillsProficient in stakeholder management up to VP level#LI-MB1At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
