Job Requisition ID #23WD71281Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join Generative AI Team with knowledge of CAD. Our team develops generative design, automated modeling, and other cutting-edge technologies integrated with Autodesk Fusion 360. We are looking for experienced engineers who would like to leverage their engineering knowledge, experience, and intuition to contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions which may combine desktop applications, web clients, cloud services, and AIAs a member of the cross-functional agile team, you will collaborate with developers, product owners, and user experience designers, and have a huge impact on how we design, build, and deliver our products to millions of professionals. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality before it is released to the customersYou will work in a diverse and dynamic environment on a variety of unique and interesting challenges. We will give you an opportunity to grow your skills and learn new technologies while we make sure you don’t forget to have fun along the way ResponsibilitiesParticipate in Scrum ceremonies: planning, Daily Scrum, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective to gather requirements; estimate, plan, and execute testing activities; report progress to stakeholdersWork with the Agile team at improving Quality Assurance processes and be an ambassador for qualityDevelop and execute software test plans & Test Cases at the user interface level, including functional tests, performance tests, and workflow tests to identify system and software problems and their causesCreate and manage API automationsPerform functional testing, regression testing, ongoing system integration, and periodic build verification tests as part of each product release cyclePerform both manual and automated testing. Create scripts to support automation testingIdentify redundant test scenarios and work on their automationSupport customers and provide feedback on training issues as well as defects encounteredStay accountable for project deliverables & deadlinesAbility to stay self-motivated, maintain accountability within the team, and achieve resultsMinimum QualificationsBE/B.Tech/BS or M.Tech/ME/MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar3 to 5 years of experience with API Testing and AutomationExperience with CAD or Industrial Design required in 2D Sketch, Assembly and designing mechanical parts.Experience in testing solutions based on ML/AIBasic knowledge of modern programming language, preferably Core Java or PythonBasic knowledge of modern programming languages, preferably Core Java, or PythonVery good written and verbal English communication skills, including writing, speaking, and presenting in EnglishWelcoming new challenges and readiness to extend knowledge outside current areas of expertisePreferred Qualifications Experience in application testing with AIExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.)Working Experience or educational background in 2D and 3D CAD is a plusExperience in agile software development process#LI-AC3Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
