Our users are building some of the most amazing construction projects in the world, and our platform is their central information point.  The Field Issues team is building a best-in-class issue tracking system for the construction industry. The end users are general contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and consultants that need to be able to take their work with them wherever they are on the construction site or in the office. The issues product is one of the most used tools inside Autodesk Construction Solutions that connects millions of data points every month. Unresolved and untracked issues can cost our customers hours in time and millions in their bottom line. Our customers rely on this issue ecosystem to track, assign, and report on safety, quality, design, coordination issues throughout the entire construction lifecycle from design to handover.  Our stacks are diverse, so you will get exposure to many technologies including Swift, Kotlin, Kotlin Native, and more.Responsibilities Leading feature development and technical delivery on key initiativesTranslating designs and product requirements into high-quality code on the Android platformPartnering with cross-functional teams to elaborate, design, and implement new featuresDesigning, building, and maintaining reusable, reliable, high-performance codeEnsuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationIdentifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugsHelping maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationBuilding efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systemsPushing the envelope on cutting-edge mobile technologies and front-end engineering best practicesMinimum QualificationsB.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProven Android app developer with 3+ years of experienceProficiency in Java and KotlinUnderstanding of the Android mobile app development cycle Familiarity with Android libraries, services, and SDKs Understanding of UX/UI standards, performance tuning, threading and offline storageExperience with developing cross-platform software components, test driven development and continuous delivery Preferred Qualifications Published Android apps in the Google Play storeOptimization and benchmarking skillsExperience managing software projects across different geos and time zonesSoftware development experience with SaaS applicationsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
