This team builds and delivers employee experience products partnering with internal organizations such as HR, IT, Procurement and Legal. and delivers capabilities that enrich and improve the overall Autodesk employee experience. If this sounds like you… let’s talk.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of software engineers to design, develop, deliver and operate full-stack, high-value, cloud-based applications and experiencesParticipate in technical design discussions and communicate effectively across cross functional teamsPartner with stakeholders in planning, execution and management of resources, roadmap and releasesDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to help your team succeedDevelop roadmaps for the team and broader organizationParticipate in planning, resourcing, execution with teamsFoster engineering excellence and a collaborative cultureKeep team unified, motivated and connected to the goals of the organizationContinuously improve team processes and validate scope estimationsCollaborate with management and executives to build data-informed business strategy and roadmap for the teamMentor and help engineers to plan and execute their career paths while also jumping into the code as needed Set and fulfill the engineering hiring plan for the team, including sourcing, screening, and interviewingMaintain high quality, performance and availability of services managed Build healthy inclusive teams promoting diversityMinimum QualificationsBachelor or Master’s in computer science or related fieldEnthusiasm for cutting edge technologies, complex problems, and building thingsKnowledge and experience with web technology stacksProblem solver with excellent written and interpersonal skills; ability to make sound, complex decisions in a fast-paced, technical environmentStrong overall programming skills, able to write modular, maintainable code Demonstrable IT knowledge commensurate with DevOps in an Enterprise and public cloud (AWS)Hands-on experience with most of the following: Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS/VueJS, Webpack, Node.js, shell scripting (Windows/*nix), Micro-services, Serverless (FaaS) and RESTful web services3+ years’ experience building, managing and leading high performing engineering teamsSolid Experience working with product management to align on goals and risksHumble, collaborative, team player, willing to step up and support your colleaguesEffective communication, problem solving and interpersonal skillsCommit to grow deeper in the knowledge and understanding of how to improve our existing applicationsWorking in an agile environment and utilizing the agile methodologyExperience in natural language processing, chatbot AI and delivering employee facing conversational services is a plusJoin us in Novi, Michigan!Novi continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in Michigan and ranks among the top of its neighboring county communities for research, technology and service companies. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $139,100 and $225,060. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
