Job Requisition ID #23WD71174Position OverviewThe Autodesk Construction Solutions team is hiring a Product Manager to oversee prioritization and execution of our industry-leading BIM cloud-based coordination and collaboration products and workflows. As Product Manager you will partner with business stakeholders to understand, evaluate, refine, prioritize and communicate the right market needs, work with the product development and experience design team to deliver great products, and then work with marketing and sales to ensure successful release to the market. Doing this successfully requires customer engagement, subject matter expertise, team collaboration, efficient decision making, relationship building, effective prioritization, excellent communication skills, and lots of enthusiasm.Responsibilities Leverages industry experience and customer engagement to specify the outcomes and priorities for product investments by agile development teamsCollects and responds to customer and stakeholder feedback, appropriately adjusting future scope, timing, and priority of deliverablesCollects and evaluates data to inform product direction and support new capability/workflow validationBuilds partnerships with stakeholders to refine and communicate overall product strategy to engineering, product executives, sales, marketing and customersEnsures transparency, alignment, and understanding of product priorities and strategy among all stakeholdersAdjusts product priorities according to evolving business and project conditionsClearly and concisely summarizes customer needs and goalsDefines product functionality and workflow requirementsEngages with the ongoing agile process of the engineering teams and ensures that development work meets the investment outcomesPartners closely with Experience Design to develop, test, and deliver clear and compelling requirements to engineeringAccessible to team members for explanation and clarification of product goals, priorities, and constraintsAssists in the production of product marketing collateral, communicating product and feature value propositionsDevelops product and workflow demonstrations to convey user-value for video recordings and live deliveryHas a public presence in online communities to engage and support customers using our productsMinimum Qualifications3 years experience within in the AEC industry, ideally with knowledge of BIM workflows during design and constructionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to adapt style to a varying audienceStrong analytical and decision-making skillsStrong exploratory and evaluation skillsBS, BA or BEng, with a strong plus for AEC related disciplineAbility to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders and influence commitmentAbility to understand complex customer workflows, identifying their key outcomes and opportunities to add valueEnglish fluency in verbal and written formsPreferred QualificationsDeep knowledge and hands-on experience with Autodesk BIM design and construction tools (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Assemble, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)Direct experience with the agile software development process and the successful delivery of commercial softwareProduct video recording and editing experienceImpactful and engaging public speaking/presentation experience#LI-LN1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
