Your expertise in modern automation frameworks, specifically Python and Go, will be used in building supportive services for our internal customer base.Key Focus Areas:In this role, your key focus areas will include building the tools and automation required to deploy services on public cloud platforms. You will utilize your expertise in software engineering to develop a platform that enables highly available, resilient, and scalable services for our global development teams.Your technical skills should include experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms, familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and concepts, proficiency in configuration management tools, and an understanding of cloud platforms and services. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team to define and implement standardized CI/CD processes, ensuring secure, scalable, compliant, and resilient delivery of products and services.As part of your responsibilities, you will design, develop, and test features and functions in applications and services, work closely with operations teams to maintain high availability and reliability, actively engage in code reviews, technical evaluations, and architectural discussions, collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and use cases, propose process automation and new tools to enhance efficiency, and be involved in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and test features and functions in platform services and tools.Collaborate with operations teams to ensure high availability and reliability of applications and services.Engage in code reviews, technical evaluations, architectural discussions, and decision-making.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, use cases, and develop a cohesive technical strategy.Automate processes and propose new tools to improve efficiency.Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.Core Qualifications:Proficiency in multiple programming languages or ability to quickly learn new languages.Familiarity with concepts and tools related to infrastructure-as-code.Experience working with containerization technologies and platforms for managing containers.Knowledge of configuration management tools and their application in managing infrastructure.Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and services, including their deployment and management.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices for continuous integration and delivery.Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools used for system performance and health monitoring.Solid understanding of networking concepts and their application in system architecture.Effective team player with strong communication skills.Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality services.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues.Ability to identify and optimize system performance bottlenecks.Aptitude for debugging and conducting root cause analysis.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in Python, Golang and shell, jsonnet, javascript.Experience with Agile software development practices.Proficiency in consuming, designing, and implementing REST APIs.Previous experience in roles related to SRE, DevOps, system administration, infrastructure engineering, or software development.Experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable systems.Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions.Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.#LI-DV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
