Job Requisition ID #23WD70605We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with heavy focus on UI to join our team and help expands the capabilities of Autodesk products. This role will be pivotal in driving front-end development across Autodesk’s applications for consumption and billing. This position will engage with a global engineering team to build for the long term of platform and infrastructure that supports the entire Autodesk product portfolio. We are seeking a smart UI Engineer, with a passion for developing robust and keen interest in new software technologies.Responsibilities · Design and develop web-based, front-end applications using React.js, Node.js, and REST or GraphQL APIs · Collaborate with Product Management and Experience design teams on ideation, prototyping, and planning. · Provide key inputs for defining the vision and technical roadmap for software capabilities · Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products · Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it. · Design and execute the work needed to ensure quality of your own code and raise the bar for the team · Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes · Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates. · Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to continually improve performance and quality · Focus on scalability, security, and availability of all applications and processes. · Help to drive cross-functional technical alignment on the definition, understanding & architecture of technologies and solutions in several key areas, including cross-capability, cross-release issues, and issues affecting application integrity.Minimum Qualifications · BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience · 5+ years hands-on experience developing scalable, distributed applications. · Strong development proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML5 · Experience working with APIs (GraphQL, REST) · Possess strong verbal and written communication skills · Possess strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities · Detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communicationPreferred Qualifications · Participates in industry open source working groups or similar. · Full stack engineering experience is a strong plus.The Ideal Candidate · You enjoy making highly scalable and highly available distributed systems. · You write clean, testable and effective code · You hold yourself and others to high technical standards (design, architecture, and implementation) · You have a deep understanding of object-oriented design and at least one modern frontend framework · You enjoy shipping features in a collaborative team#LI-RM2Learn More / Plus d'informationAbout Autodesk / À propos d’AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
