Job Requisition ID #23WD71194Position OverviewWe’re growing our Service Platforms and Experience team within Autodesk’s Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering organization. As part the team you will play a strategic role in designing, building and continually improving company-wide cloud and service management platforms critical to maintaining world-class developer experience. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, deploy, and maintain API-first service architectures supporting business objectivesInstrument and follow industry best-practices for creating highly available and resilient services Apply data driven approaches supporting metrics for resources across public clouds, offering actionable intelligence to right-size and scale services efficientlyIdentify and facilitate opportunities to optimize, reduce cost, and realize reusable designs and patterns that can be used across the companyCollaborate with key organizational stakeholders to determine cloud service strategy and improvementsBuild and maintain systems helping developers manage foundational aspects of the service lifecycleMinimum QualificationsBS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field8+ years of professional experience developing scalable, distributed applicationsSelf-starter who can perform as part of a distributed and cross-organization teamStrong experience in object-oriented programming with languages like javascript, typescript, node.js,Experience designing and building APIs using micro service architectures, GraphQLExperience working with containers and server less technologyStrong experience with building cloud-based API platforms or backend systemsStrong knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architecturesStrong experience and understanding of working within Agile frameworksStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications5-8 years experience with software and application development, business analyst experience, or data engineeringFamiliarity with various database technologies (NoSQL, SQL) and data interchange formats (XML, JSON)AWS certificationBachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
