You will have the opportunity to build mission critical systems for global high-profile clients using cutting-edgecloud technologies in an agile environment.This role is based in Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid/Remote).ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Engineer at Autodesk’s Innovyze AI team, you will report to the Software Development Manager and will play a major role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-based solutions for the water and wastewater industry. You will use and develop skills in software engineering, system design, algorithms, and web technologies. To succeed in the role, you will need to be a well-rounded software engineer, who can adapt to changes in priority and different tasks across our whole technology stack.Build reliable and scalable, cloud-based products in Python.Ensure seamless integration among crucial pieces of technology.Support software design discussions, backend architecture, and implementation.Work with large data sets, primarily time series data.Research, design, document, implement, and test computer software systems.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative field of study; or work experience in software engineering in lieu of formal degree3+ years of experience with developing modern SaaS applicationsProficient in PythonKnowledge of general AWS services such as Lambdas, API Gateway, ECS (EC2 and Fargate), S3, and DynamoDBKnowledge of AWS SagemakerGood understanding of the Machine Learning LifecycleProficient in building, testing (unit, integration, etc.), and deploying production quality applicationsUnderstand the application lifecycle, and the iterative nature of software developmentProficient in version control using GitProficient in third-party integration using REST APIs, SDK’sLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
