Do you want to assist educators and students to teach and learn the newest tools around cloud-based design and collaboration, additive/subtractive manufacturing and generative design? If so, we want to hear from you.You will create awareness and adoption of our newest Autodesk technologies at educational accounts throughout the UK, with a focus on vocational Colleges. You will develop working relationships with Heads of School, Department Chairs, educators and administrators within the education sector, but also with student organizations and teams in order to build networks and communities, making our solutions visual and increasing the adoption into the curriculum without the hard sell.You will report to the Senior Manager for Education in EMEA with your focus on the United Kingdom. Autodesk supports hybrid working.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate ability to earn customer respect as a trusted advisor and expert in "Design & Make"Support overall Education team efforts in the development of and delivery of special events, training and on-campus activities, involving Autodesk Learning PartnersWork with marketing and product management divisions to understand technical trends, expertise messaging and ongoing product updatesInitiate and maintain collaborative relationships with main education partners and professional organizationsUse team technical expertise and partners in appropriate software workflowsProvide monthly metric reports on progress toward goalsMinimum QualificationsBS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design. MS, or equivalent experience would be helpfulKnowledge of 3D Design software: Autodesk Fusion 360, Inventor and SolidWorks or other competitive productsUnderstanding of the UK Further Education systemExperienced in developing strategic relationships with education customers and industry partnersComfortable presenting and discussing industry workflows and practices and their application in the academic environmentExperience influencing others in a matrix organisationExperienced building rapport with a variety of internal and external membersExperienced in the use of multiple presentation tools and techniques, adapting and fitting them to audience and topicYou will enjoy communicating to an audience including the ability to explain in a concise, logical formatYou will work independently and as part of a geographically distributed groupAbility to travel 40% of time to educational institutions, conferences and other education-related events#LI-SH1 #Li-HybridLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
