Job Requisition ID #23WD72108Position OverviewResponsible for leading and presenting AEC technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle in Civil Engineering. Technical Solutions Executives partner with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to assist in the development, management and execution on strategies and tactics for closing business. They meet with individuals at all levels within a customer’s organization in order to understand their workflows, issues and position Autodesk solutions while discovering business opportunities for Autodesk.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-depth assessments of customer processes. Investigate, uncover and understand the customer’s business issues. Utilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry changes to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvementDemonstrate proposed solutions & product overviews and relate them to the customer’s business issues. Develop and conduct professional presentations & demonstrations, and lead sales discussions with customers to generate sales of Autodesk solutionsPosition and sell Autodesk’s unique business values in competitive sales situations against other vendors. Presentations, demonstrations, and discussions may be in-person, web-based, or via other mechanismsInfluence product development and product direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunitiesDevelops long term customer relationships and achieves customer satisfaction goals. Maintain and grow respected, trusted advisor relationships with customers and members of the Autodesk sales team involved with the opportunitySupport the success of Autodesk resellers by mentoring and training reseller personnel on technical sales activities and execution. Support internal sales and team learning through creation of sales contentParticipates in company sponsored events and tradeshows to promote Autodesk’s solutions and the customer business issues they targetMinimum QualificationsProven professional experience and in-depth knowledge in AEC industry and its ecosystem especially in Civil Engineering and Construction or related solution providers with Autodesk BIM and cloud solutionsGood knowledge in CDE (Common Data Environment) process and ISO 19650 requirementsTotal +10 years of experience in engineering and technical support for Civil Engineering and Construction solutions in Rail, Road, Land, Water, Infrastructure, etc.Min. +5 years of experience in design field as BIM manager or BIM coordinator with profound knowledge and experience in Civil BIMBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related areaKnowledge and experience in Dynamo coding for Generative DesignIn-Depth knowledge of Autodesk solutions (Civil3D, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud/ BIM360, Forge, Navisworks, InfraWorks, AutoCAD and/or other Autodesk solutions)Deep knowledge of AEC industry standard processes, workflows, data formats and interoperability techniquesRequires advanced or intermediate English communication skills in writing & speakingHigh communication and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsField experience in pre-fabrication and modular construction in Civil EngineeringSoftware development experience using Forge/APS(Autodesk Platform Services) and scriptingExperience with competitive AEC solutions within industry#LI-KC1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
