Location: Carnaxide, Lisbon & Home Office, Hybrid role.We are looking for a Modern C++ Software trainee to join our software development team.You will be working in software related to optical network products.You will have the opportunity to offer your ideas, suggestions, and designs to help the team improve their quality of work.The team strives to write clean, decoupled, and testable code with a clear separation of components and responsibilities.The key responsibilities of the role include:Develop embedded applications for Intel/ARM/PPC architecture in C++11 and aboveUse libraries such as STL and BoostWrite unit-tests, end-to-end tests and stress testingDevelop code in accordance with the system design and coding standards with senior supervisionReview the code of peer developersYour qualification:BSc/MSc in computer science, computer engineering or a related subjectKnowledge and an active interest in object-oriented principles, practices and design patternsWillingness to work with and learn modern C++, asynchronous programming and unit-testingExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of any of the following will be a plus: gtest, python, git, svnOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter with a passion for coding, tinkering, reading, exploring and breaking thingsVery good written and verbal skills in EnglishWhat we offer:Intellectually stimulating work environmentContinuous personal development and work with international/multicultural teams.The option of working remotely and out of our office in CarnaxideTo be eligible for this internship you need you be a graduate with no work experience.
