Short (hours, days or a handful of weeks) engagements mean an exciting, fast-paced set of conversations where you will uplevel your people and process management skills while sharpening your storytelling capacities. What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Helping clients to define and plan prioritized program outcomes, measured goals and iterative “get started” plans that create and build momentumFacilitating workshops, using Event Storming, Value Stream Mapping, OKRs, and various other specialized techniques that elicit understanding of existing application portfolios, systems, organizations, business flows and/or related IT processesEstablishing effective communications and collaboration between the client, our service delivery teams, delivery leadership, and account teams to ensure alignment and successful expectation managementManaging risk, budget, and dependencies, driving staffing demand, handling escalations and planning interventions to improve engagement health when necessary, and continuously measuring appropriate metrics for successCreating documentation, presentations and other customer-facing assets that accomplish intended project objectivesClose collaboration with clients and other VMware teams, based on project backlogSupport enablement of clients around the principles and practices we apply to lean program management and software deliveryContributing back to the VMware team through mentorship, giving talks, and experience reportsWhat is leadership like?
