What your role includes:For successful applicants, we will work together to develop a tailored on-boarding plan, highlighting your experience & focusing on development in other areas of the role. This may include, product training, assigning a buddy or coach, research of the identity market & partner integrations, shadowing other members of the SE team, & practicing messaging & demonstrations. Once you are ready, you’ll work with our team of account executives to develop & progress sales opportunities. When aligned, you’ll be responsible for the opportunity from a technical perspective, focusing on a consultative approach. Specific responsibilities will include:Joining initial calls, to discover & refine challenges that prospective customers are facing.Providing platform demonstrations & workshops with stakeholders from CxO to SME.Answering technical questions, for example responding to RFPs & Pre-Sales queries.Providing strategic guidance on implementing identity programs. You’ll also have time to develop your skills, & attend internal training sessions, along with supporting the wider SE team with any questions or advice. We are looking for confident, motivated individuals to join our Solutions Engineering team in EMEA. Existing SaaS pre-sales experience is very advantageous, as is any background in selling or running an identity platform. Solution Engineers at SailPoint have blended technical understanding & business focus. Perhaps you’re an existing pre-sales or services professional looking for a new challenge, or have experience with the SailPoint platform & would like to break into pre-sales as a career?You have a positive, confident outlook.You enjoy working as part of a team.You have a growth mindset & welcome the ability to continually learn & develop skills across an expanding product portfolio.You have a strong ability to understand & articulate business value.Your inquisitive nature allows you to define & focus on customer challenges & align solutions across a product portfolio.You are comfortable presenting professionally to a wide audience, including technical demonstrations.You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, including fluent German (a MUST) and English Technical skills:You have a strong technical understanding of Infrastructure, & Access Management.You understand SaaS solutions, & how they operate.You have an understanding or experience in Identity Security, & key Identity principles.You have an understanding or experience with IaaS environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).You have an understanding or experience with AI-driven solutions.
