You will be providing customers with end-to-end performance metric monitoring for their Clinical workflow by continuously monitoring, analysing, and summarizing QC data as part of the NIPT sustaining service.This is a field based role which requires travel up to 50%, Europe wide. We are ideally looking to recruit this role within the UK, however we would also be open to considering other European locations. It is essential for the role that you hold a valid driving license for the country in which you will be based.Please note that this is a 12-month fix term contract position OR 12 month secondment for internal applicants. Illumina's employee benefits are industry-leading and include, flexible time off, private medical insurance, compassion and care time off, leisure travel insurance, pension, employee stock purchasing program, volunteer time off, and much more!ResponsibilitiesEnsure proactive account maintenance, monitoring of NIPT QC metrics and sample failure rate, initiating troubleshooting cases where appropriate and providing customers with sustaining metrics reports.Work in collaboration with our Illumina software team or third-party company to ensure continuous development and evolution of the NIPT sustaining tool.Create and maintain dashboards to provide management and colleagues easy access to summary level account/assay performance.Ensure pro-active account management providing data for customer business reviews (quarterly reviews, test performance over time, SLA compliance...)Ensure pro-active account management providing data and analysis for regular internal business review (post-market surveillance, IVD test performance, service performance, pro-active service)Support both key account and strategic sales efforts through technical presentations and demonstrations.Provides strategic and competitive feedback to marketing and product support development teams and independently lead or manage beta tests at customer sites.Develop and improve key company processes that support our mission of building a world-class customer support organizationRequirementsWilling to travel, Europe wide up to 50% Previous commercial biotech or biomedical experienceSignificant prior experience in an in-house or field support roleExperience training in laboratory environmentComprehensive hands-on experience with microarray and sequencing technologiesClinical or regulatory background (especially in reproductive and genetic health or NIPT)Highly motivated with superior problem-solving abilityExperience at leading internal projects and matrix managing core teams.Excellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to work cross-functionally within a global organization and matrix reporting structureOutstanding interpersonal skills.Clear vision of and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.Demonstrated competence at working in a multi-country environmentWhat can you expect?Our team members are bright, energetic, and dedicated - they are the driving force behind our innovation and impact.
