This role fills a critical position in the organization by supporting and leading the business process excellence program.We are looking for a candidate with experience in leading lean/six sigma initiatives, coaching and mentoring teams, facilitating Kaizen or Rapid Improvement Everts, as well as leading large-scale projects. This role will be closely partnering with the G&A functional leadership to engage teams in continuous improvement and to drive the process excellence maturity within the function. In addition, this role will be expected to serve as a member of the global CI program team in sharing, learning, and continuously improving our global content and program through local efforts, learnings, and experience.ResponsibilitiesServe as a CI manager to own the deployment and maturity of the process excellence programMentor functional and Sr. Leaders, including local OpEx resources and teams, to instill the disciplines to drive an engaged lean/six sigma thinking enterprise.Serve as Sensei to the execution of Kaizen (Rapid Improvement Events), Business Process Analysis (BPA) events, and manage large process improvement projects.Apply the principles of LSS (Waste and Variation Reduction)Drive measurable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Customer Satisfaction and workforce Engagement in CI.Lead training sessions in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodsSupport policy deployment activities to define strategic objectives and metrics for the organizationIncorporate the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methods in team activities towards business problem solving.Promote analytical problem solving and data driven solutions through the application of statistical methodologies (LSS).Incorporate the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methods in team activities and business problem solving.Requirements5+ years of continuous improvement leadership applying the elements of lean, six sigma, and operational excellence with 1-3 years of experience at a manager level or aboveExpertise in leading Lean Kaizen events in a cross-functional business process environment is required.Experience and track record for making rapid measurable improvements through the implementation of lean methods in a company respected and admired for Continuous Improvement effortsMasters or Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in information technology, information systems, business, finance, economicsStrong project management, process mapping, and data analysis skills requiredExperience mentoring and teaching othersAbility to influence leaders and support organizationsEnergetic and positive enthusiastic dispositionExperience in IVD/Med Device industry is a plus. Familiarity with SAP ERP is a plusSix Sigma Black Belt Certification preferredThe estimated base salary range for the Sr. Manager, Business Process Excellence role based in the United States of America is: $136,100 - $204,100. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
