Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.PLEASE APPLY WITH A RESUME IN ENGLISH.Responsibilities: Lead indirect sourcing and procurement within LATAM regionEnsures efficient processing of purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliersWork cross functionally within region and globally on projects and within teamSetups contract in contract module as well uploads and provides continual maintenance for life of contractOnboarding activities for all suppliers supporting regionExecute RFQsResponsible for procurement business system data input and integrityPartner to sourcing in qualifying and identifying suppliersEnforce purchasing policyPerforms cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities (e.g. materials, components, equipment and services)Continuous support with evolution of onboarding and purchasing process specifically for LATAMParticipate in contract negotiation and able to execute contracts successfullyReview and approval of potential purchases that complies with Illumina purchasing policies and proceduresServes as subject matter expert for all purchasing related activitiesManage and support backend processes such as invoice resolution issuesMonitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highest quality at best valuePartner to suppliers and able to navigate through difficult situations including but not limited to inventory constraintsDevelops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitiveProcurement liaison and support to sourcing for business reviews and other related activities for supplier managementMay recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcingAdvise to sourcing and management sourcing strategy for commoditiesWorks with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availabilityListed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position.
