Develops policies and procedures, and implements material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures. Monitors availability of materials in the supply chain and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Manages sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory. May oversee work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies. Experience/Education:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience, with 5+ years of Management experience.  Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEstablish Strategic directions and goals for Distribution Centers to meet customer requirementsLead/Manage all the San Diego area Warehouse (customer-delivery) Operations … including all Inbound, Internal, and Outboard functions – proactively drive and support the growth of the companyCollaborate with Customers, Commercial Ops, Supply Chain, Quality and Trade Compliance to develop and build out distribution processes to meet stakeholder requirements and expectationsDrive Customer Experience improvements around Supply Chain by closely collaborating with customersPlay a strong role in site layout (optimizing material flows), growth, transformation, and be a critical link to the 3PL networkBuild and develop a highly effective & engaged teamContribute significantly to the design of the AMR Network strategy … including nodes in developing markets, as requiredLead efforts to drive continuous improvement to delivery process – driving high customer satisfaction & lowering operating costsLead efforts to improve and maintain on-time-delivery in excess of 98%Drive productivity and employ new systems/tools quickly as they cascade down from the Global Logistics teamEnsure all internal Distribution Standard Operating Procedures, On-the-Job Trainings, and Work Instructions are current and effective and ensure individuals are well-trainedEnsure compliance with SOX, GMP, ISO, Trade Compliance and all quality, safety and regulatory requirements#LI-ONSITEThe estimated base salary range for the Senior Manager, Distribution role based in the United States of America is: $136,100 - $204,100. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
