Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:Ubiquity Global Services is a global BPO that provides Customer Service, Banking support and otherservices to Companies worldwide. Ubiquity is seeking for Senior Accounting Manager who will beresponsible for all accounting, finance, treasury, tax and compliance functions for its growing business inthe Philippines. This position will be reporting to the VP Finance of the company.Responsibilities of the Position include but are not limited to the following:● Preparation of monthly financial statements of Philippine operations; prepare theconsolidated financial statements and supporting analysis to management and otherusers.● Responsible for maintaining an up to date general ledger and supporting analysis● Maintaining fixed asset and other subsidiary ledgers● Supervise reconciliation of bank accounts and reporting on daily cash balances.● Supervise the accounts payable function, including the timely posting of vendor invoicesto proper accounts and ensuring proper approvals of payments to vendors● Manage the company’s financial planning● Plan and perform risk management duties● Manage the preparation and filings of all income, VAT, payroll and other tax returns andreporting to all local or government agencies● Determine finance KPIs and manage staff to meet KPI’s● Hire and supervise local accounting personnel● Manage and retain relationships with outside accountants, attorneys and various vendors● Advise and manage facilities sourcing, construction and management● Prepare and present financial forecasts and gross profit analysis● Ensure adherence to law and company’s policies● Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policiesQualifications of the right candidate are as follows:● Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, CPA certification is required.● Minimum 10 years relevant experience, at least 2 years experience in a Big 4 Accountingfirm● Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law and compliance requirements● Must be a self- starter who can identify key projects and tasks and execute on thoseprojects and tasks with minimal oversight.● Hands-on experience with NetSuite a plus● Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and leadership skills● Problem solving ability and critical thinking mindsetWhat we do.Recognized as the #1 CX provider for disruptors and innovators across financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce, Ubiquity was founded on the belief that our clients and their customers deserve better.
